Health Guarantee
Sun Meadow Appenzellers guarantees that each puppy is in good health, has received his/her first DAPP (Distemper, Adenovirus, Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus) vaccination, and has been wormed at least once before being released to their new owners.
Sun Meadow Appenzellers will provide each Buyer with a detailed health record listing all treatments their Appenzeller puppy has received while it has been under their care. Each puppy has a three (3) year Health Guarantee from the date of their birth against any immediate life-threatening hereditary and congenital defects.

Each Buyer shall agree to have their puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within fourteen (14) days of the purchase date. At that time, if the veterinarian determines that their puppy is not in good health, the Buyer can return their puppy to Sun Meadow Appenzellers for a full refund. The puppy must be returned within twenty-one (21) days of the date noted on their copy of the Health Guarantee for a full refund.

Each Buyer shall agree to take their Appenzeller for annual wellness exams (or more frequent visits as directed by their licensed veterinarian) and understands that if they do not take their Appenzeller to a licensed veterinarian and are unable to provide health care records, the health guarantee becomes null and void.

If a puppy is diagnosed with an immediate life-threatening hereditary or congenital defect up to eighteen (18) months from the date of its birth, Sun Meadow Appenzellers will:
-
replace the puppy as soon as another puppy is available, or
-
refund 85% of the sales price (full refund less 15% administration fees)
If an Appenzeller is diagnosed with an immediate life-threatening hereditary or congenital defect between eighteen (18) months and three (3) years from its date of birth, Sun Meadow Appenzellers will:
-
replace the Appenzeller as soon as one is available, or
-
refund 50% of the selling price
If an Appenzeller is diagnosed by a veterinarian to have a hereditary or congenital life-threatening condition, Sun Meadow Appenzellers reserves the right to request a review and/or second opinion by a licensed veterinarian of their choice to validate the diagnosis. This validation must be completed before our health guarantee will be honored.
In the event of an immediate life-threatening hereditary or congenital defect, each Buyer shall agree to return their Appenzeller to Sun Meadow Appenzellers within fourteen (14) days of confirmed diagnosis. If their Appenzeller is not returned within fourteen (14) days, the Health Guarantee becomes null and void.
If a puppy/dog replacement occurs, no further compensation may be sought from Sun Meadow Appenzellers.

Sun Meadow Appenzellers is not responsible for:
-
any vet bills incurred by the Buyer at any time including the vet check or follow-up vet check or diagnostics to determine a life-threatening condition.
-
any shipping costs for the return of an Appenzeller for a replacement puppy.
Our Health Guarantee DOES NOT include common treatable or non-life-threatening conditions. Some examples are; common parasites, worms, skin problems, coccidia, allergies, giardia, parvovirus, distemper, demodex, eye issues or injuries, or death due to a vaccine or injection.
